Notable Nostalgic Blu-ray Releases Aug. 12 - Aug. 18

This is the first week I'll be doing a release list of nostalgic movies and television shows on Blu-ray. I'm hoping that you all enjoy the releases I pick each and every week.

1.) Jaws (1975) - Universal 100th Anniversary Edition | Blu-ray Release Date: August 14th, 2012

A giant great white shark arrives on the shores of a New England beach resort and wreaks havoc with bloody attacks on swimmers until a part-time sheriff teams up with a marine biologist and an old seafarer to hunt the monster down.

2.) New Jack City (1991) | Blu-ray Release Date: August 14th, 2012

In the poverty-stricken slums of 1980s New York, ruthless "New Jack" gangster Nino Brown and his Cash Money Brothers build a criminal empire selling crack, while NYPD Lt. Stone forms an undercover unit of misfits to infiltrate the gang and bring it down.

3.) Fallen (1998) | Blu-ray Release Date: August 14th, 2012

Homicide detective John Hobbes witnesses the execution of serial killer Edgar Reese. Soon after the execution the killings start again, and they are very similar to Reese's style.
